Community Guidelines

• Use your real name and a photo of yourself. Accounts are tied to LinkedIn for a reason.
• Don't impersonate any person, company, brand or organisation, or imply an affiliation you don't have.
• Don't misrepresent your job, credentials, employer or qualifications.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts for others or to evade an enforcement action.
• Your @handle must not mislead, impersonate, or contain offensive terms.

• Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, bullying and intimidation are not allowed.
• No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability or serious illness.
• No threats, incitement or glorification of violence, terrorism or violent extremism.
• No sexual harassment, unwanted advances, or sexually explicit content.
• No content that sexualises or endangers minors — we report it to the authorities.
• No encouragement of self-harm or suicide. If someone is in crisis, point them to local emergency services.
• Respect blocks. Don't contact someone through another account or room after they've blocked you.

• Don't share another person's private information — home address, personal phone, financial or health details, or private messages — without their permission.
• Don't record, transcribe, screen-capture or rebroadcast a room outside Convenabl's own recording feature without the explicit consent of everyone speaking. Convenabl recordings are always announced in the room.
• Don't share what was said in a private room or private Community outside it without permission.
• Don't collect members' data by scraping, automation or bulk messaging.

• The host sets the topic and tone. Hosts, co-hosts and moderators can invite to the stage, mute, move to the audience, or remove people. Follow their direction.
• Raise your hand to speak, let others finish, and mute when you aren't talking.
• Don't hijack a room's topic, filibuster, or deliberately disrupt with noise or repeated interruptions.
• Hosts: moderate fairly, don't abuse controls, and keep the room on the topic you advertised.
• Community owners and admins are responsible for keeping their Community within these guidelines.

• No scams, fraud, phishing, pyramid schemes, or "get rich quick" offers.
• Don't knowingly spread false information that could cause real-world harm, including about health, elections or public safety.
• Don't give financial, legal or medical advice while presenting yourself as qualified when you aren't. Disclose material conflicts of interest when promoting something.
• No defamation — don't make false statements of fact that damage someone's reputation.

• No unsolicited mass pitching, repetitive promotion, or flooding chat.
• No bots, automated accounts, or fake engagement such as purchased followers.
• Don't coordinate with others to manipulate rooms, reports, discovery or follower counts.
• Don't post misleading links or links to malware.

• Don't play music, video, presentations or documents you don't own or have permission to share.
• Watch Party is for publicly available videos only. Don't use it to stream pirated or paywalled content.
• Images, GIFs and logos you upload must be yours to use and suitable for a professional audience.

Don't use Convenabl to sell or promote illegal goods or services, regulated goods such as weapons or drugs, or to break any law that applies to you or the people you are speaking with.

Use the report action in a room or on a profile, or our reporting form. You can also email support@convenabl.com. Every report is reviewed by a person. The member you report is never told who reported them. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

We consider context, severity and history. Depending on the case, consequences include:

• a warning;
• being muted, moved off stage, or removed from a room;
• removal of content or a pinned link;
• a ban from a Community;
• loss of hosting or Premium features;
• temporary or permanent suspension of your account.

Serious violations — threats, child safety, credible harm — may lead to immediate suspension and referral to law enforcement. If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the notice or email us and a different person will review the decision.

We may update these guidelines as Convenabl grows. When we make a meaningful change, we will ask you to review the new version the next time you sign in.
