Version 2026-09-10-draft · Last updated 10 September 2026
Draft — pending review. This wording has not been reviewed or approved by a lawyer. It describes how Convenabl currently works so alpha participants know what to expect. It is not legal advice and will be replaced before public launch.
What we collect
- Your LinkedIn name, photo, headline and profile link when you sign in.
- What you choose to add: bio, company, role, city, interests.
- Rooms you join, communities you belong to, and what you post in chat.
- Recordings and transcripts a host chose to create, as described below.
- Technical events needed to keep the service working, such as a failed connection.
We do not import your LinkedIn connections.
Live audio
Live audio is carried in real time and is not stored by Convenabl unless a host has turned on recording. When recording is off, nothing about what was said is kept.
Recording and AI transcripts
A Premium host can record a room. A recording is stored privately and is only reachable through short-lived links issued to people allowed to see it. AI transcripts and summaries are produced only for public rooms, only from a completed recording, and only when the host asks for one. A recap stays private to the host until the host publishes it. Deleting a recording deletes its transcript and summary too.
You are shown a notice and asked to acknowledge it before speaking in such a room.
Profile visibility
You choose who can see your profile in Settings. The choice is enforced by our database, not just hidden in the interface.
- Public — anyone, including people who are not signed in, can see your name, handle, photo, headline, bio, location and LinkedIn link.
- Members only — the same information, but only for signed-in Convenabl members. Signed-out visitors get nothing.
- Private — you are not returned by search, discovery, public pages or a direct lookup. People who are in a room with you still see your name and photo, because a conversation cannot work with anonymous participants.
What we never expose
The identifier LinkedIn uses for your account, and any moderation notes about a suspended account, cannot be read by other members at all.
Analytics
Room analytics are aggregate. Small groups are not broken down, so an individual cannot be singled out. We do not track you across other websites.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Convenabl never sees or stores your card details.
Your choices
You can edit or clear your profile fields, change visibility, block people, control notifications, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@convenabl.com.
